The Stech Construction 4-a-side sponsored darts league, hosted by Margate Darts Association, was a resounding success. It was a mixed league, in the sense that there were players from all four clubs. The darts players enjoyed with each other, instead of against, for a change.
Winners were Harleys Darts Club, namely Tony Premnadu, Johan Havenga, Theunis Duvenhage and Allan Palmer. In second place were Hot Points, comprising Avikar Maharaj, Minette Nawrattel, Rion van Zyl and Danie Collins. Third place went to Venom, being Harold Jantjies, Eddie Ramaloo, Yvonne Swart and Dean Collins. The league was played to a high standard and improvement noted among the youth, some of whom toppled some of the senior players.
