Rain, chicken and Ten Cup Series for Sheppie

The course is lush after some (more) summer rain.

Due to rain the Wednesday competition was played over nine holes and won by Basil King on 20 points, via a countout from Jenny Hulley.

The Hibiscus Coast Electrical Fowl Friday was won by Daniel Shingange on 20 points, with Gavin van Wyk and Kaya Manona on 19 points.

Theo van Rooyen carded 18 points, and Allan Rowley 17 points.

Saturday’s competition was round one of the Ten Cup Series and was won by Sbu Ntozakhe on 41 points.

Carl Zietsman was second on 37 points, with Santhos Baskali and André Rabie both carding 36 points.

Sidney Shingange and Paul Geoffery both had 35 points.

Nearest the pins were Colin Paul (5th), Paul Geoffery (8th), Sidney Shingange (14th) and Allan Clark (17th).
