The Sebenza Carwash open pairs on March 7 was won by Johan du Preez and Jeanne Gregori. Runners-up were Clinton Edmonds and Cassidy Martin.
Session prize went to Louis Heystek and Patrick Pillay. Monica Campbell won the lucky draw.
Various members took part in the Margate mixed pairs championships last weekend.
It was won by Johan du Preez and Jeanne Gregori, with Mike Prinsloo and Wendy Walker the runners-up.
HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene Spar drawn mixed trips on March 7 was won by Albert Munnik, Boet van der Merwe and Joey Venter.
In second place were Alex Bukes, Bez Bezuidenhout and Bubbles Bezuidenhout.
Session went to Alida Munnik, John Hodge and Gawie Gordon.
In other news, Luke Pohl and Silvia Pretorius won the Hibberdene mixed pairs club championships, with Estelle Quinn and Bez Bezuidenhout as runners-up.
The men’s league team won the B section and will be promoted to the premium league next year.
VILLAGE
Winning the Hibiscus Retirement Village open trips on March 4 were Johan du Preez, Jeanne Gregori and Heidi Bracegirdle.
Runners-up were Martiens Olivier, André Lourens and Elsa Lourens.
First session winners were Sannie Balzer, Jenny Louw and Marjeanne Fenshan.
Second session winners were Annette Payne, Mervyn Barrett and Manny Rodrigues.
