Ugu tennis had four players competing in the TSA Renault SA Nationals Masters champs in The Winelands last week.
They were Umtentweni TC members Cathy Kirton, Ian Ackerman and Raj Naganna, as well as Southbroom TC member Martyn Nagtegaal.
Ian became the 2025 champion in the MS75 (men’s singles 75 years old) when he beat Raj in the final.
Martyn showed he is getting closer to top form with a runner-up finish in the MS65 after claiming some epic wins along the way.
There was some consolation as he won the MD65 with partner Duard Botha.
