Captain’s Cup for Pro-Vision’s Nqoko

There were some excellent scores in the hot weather.

Pro-Vision Golf and Social Club held their Captain’s Cup and second league match of the year last Sunday.

It was held at Margate Country Club, with 48 players teeing it up, and sponsored by John Evans of River Valley Nature Reserve.

The A-division and Captain’s Cup Title was won by Nkazimulo Nqoko on 42 points, by two from Thulani Xolo on 40 points.

Fabian Makhanya was third on 39 points, one ahead of Thabane Ngcungama on 38 points.

In fifth spot was Loyiso Goqwana on 36 points.

The B-division, described as the most competitive one, saw Preggie Perumal win on 36 points.

Rajin Govender cleans up in the C-division.

Runner-up was Sashen Govender on 32 points, followed by Sharms Goberdan on 31 points and Gansen Appanna on 29 points, counting out Nhlanhla Ndzimbovu.

C-division honours went to Rajin Govender on 38 points, with Krish Kandasamy on 37 points and Ravin Ranjit on 34 points.

Fourth spot went to Jerome Ragavan on 31 points, with fifth claimed by Naresh Deendayal on 27 points.

The next league match is at Southbroom Golf Club on April 6. Team golf and matchplay will start at that game.

Preggie Perumal takes the B-division, with Sharms Goberdan in third spot.
