The Lucky’s Discount Centre golf day at Port Shepstone Country Club last Saturday proved to be a massive success.
It was won by Mike and Danieta Vosloo on 52 points, from Monde Nondebula and Loyiso Manyana, who had 49 points.
Third place went to Sanele Nyangule and Ronnie Mtshaka on 46 points.
They counted out Kreeson Naicker and Kiara Naicker, as well as Zelda Smook and Debi Stewart.
In sixth place on 44 points were Heber de Beer and George Nagel, counting out Morris Moodley and Sbu Ntozakhe.
The club was grateful to Lucky’s for the sponsored day and felt it was everything a golf day should be, on and off the course.
With a turnout of more than 80 players and in challenging weather, the golfers showcased camaraderie, sportsmanship and fun on the course.
There was great music by Johan Potgieter, fabulous food and drinks, and fantastic prizes. In short, the Sheppie ambience was epic.

The Monthly Mug last Wednesday was won by George Bowie on nett 70.
Morris Moodley has the best Stableford score of 38 points. Division winners were Johann J van Rensburg (A) on nett 70, Colin Paul (B) on nett 71 and Chris Boyce (C) on nett 73.
Cameron Olivant had the best gross with a score of 73.
