Sign up for Mbango croquet

It's a sport for anyone to enjoy and members encourage all to try it out.

The Mbango Valley Association Croquet Club is alive and well and has recently acquired a new sponsor in GraceMed Pharmacy.

Members, including former national player Gary Culligan, raised a glass and toasted this latest development, signalling a fresh new chapter on the lawns.

“The unveiling of our clubhouse sign and the announcement of our sponsor, GraceMed Pharmacy, was a big moment for us,” said chairman Paul Smulders.

The official ribbon cutting, performed by MVA general manager Shirley Sterling and Kelsey Steyn, representing GraceMed Pharmacy, was followed by some time on the courts and then the cheese, wine and tapas party.

“This special occasion celebrated our wonderful partnership with our sponsor, GraceMed Pharmacy, and the exciting upgrades to our croquet courts.”

In all, it was a wonderful afternoon of great food, drinks, and delightful company, as members and guests marked this important milestone.

Let the games begin. Mbango Valley Association croquet players test the new lawn.
