Tee up for Rotary golf
Businesses are invited to sponsor holes, prizes, vouchers or goodies for a very attractive lucky draw hamper.
One of the oldest and most prestigious golf days on the South Coast, the annual Hibiscus Coast Rotary Charity Golf Day, takes place at the Margate Country Club this Saturday (May 10).
The format is a fourball betterball with a shotgun start at 11:00.
The golf day has been held annually for nearly half a century and has established a reputation of fun, with a variety of prizes and, most importantly, raising funds for local charitable needs.
Apart from the prizes for the winners, there will also be prizes on the short holes and for the longest drives.
A cherry on top is that the name of the winners will be added to the honours board at the club.
Sponsors will add to the fun and excitement with entertainment on the course while every fourball will also receive a food hamper at the end of the 18 holes.
