All business for Phiwa and team

Some hot days have helped dry out the course.

Due to the rain and wet course, the Wednesday competition was played over the first nine, firstly off the white tees and then off the red ones.
White tees winner was Theo van Rooyen on 26 points, with Cameron Olivant second on 22 points.
In third place was Gary Vogt on 21, followed by Lionel Peters on 20 points.
Red tees winner was Colin Nel on 21 points, with Basil King second on 20 points. In third place on 19 points were Fanie Terblanche and Chris du Plessis.

Two days later, the Van Zyl Retief Business Day Golf was won by Phiwa Mkhoma, PK Mkhoma, Mlondi Zithumane and Mxolisi Cele on 92 points.
Runners-up were Paul Geoffery, Ram Nandhoo, Chris Solgevik and Thami Xolo on 90 points, followed by Gavin van Wyk, Bruce Holmes, Ian Stewart and Allan Rowley on 88 points.
Nearest the pins were Phiwa Mkhoma (5th), Cameron Olivant (8th), Mike Nadauld (14th) and Smittie Stieger (17th).

Saturday’s betterball was won by Terry Kotze and Theo van Rooyen on 45 points.
In second place were Ayoob Bux and Ganes Munsami on 44 points, counting out Gerald Koch and Fanie Terblanche.
