KINGFISHER BA
The Kingfisher Bowling Association fours tournament has come to an end for the year, with some exciting matches played throughout.
Thanks were extended to Coastal Cellular for sponsoring data to livestream to YouTube via the Kingfisher Bowls channel.
Men’s winners were Riverside, comprising Ferro van Greunen, Rodney Botha, Paul Mundell and St John Roodt.
Runners-up were also Riverside. Settling for third were The Bell and Banners Rest.
In the women’s section, Southbroom claimed top honours, the team consisting of Julie Walker, Mal Shepherd, Anne Taylor and Monica Campbell.
In second place were AMBC. Tied for third were AMBC and Riverside.

MARGATE
The Uvongo Spar open 2-4-2 on July 16 was won by Mark Kassner and Cassidy Martin. Runners-up were Martiens Olivier and Tiens Zietsman.
Session prize went to Manny Rodrigues and Theo Vorster.
Lucky draw was won by Dave van As.
The Ken Tonge sponsored ladies’ trips on July 18 was won by Mari Fielden, Retha Soden and Jeanne Gregori.
Runners-up were Barbara Marx, Mandy Isikson and Avril Cannon.
Lucky draw went to Retha Soden.
The players wished sponsor Ken a happy 80th birthday and thanked him for his generous support of the sport.

TWENI
The 3rd Avenue/The Meat Joint mixed fours on July 21 was won by Tammy Gibbons, Rienie Blignaut, Carl Volker and Frik van Rensburg.
Runners-up were Brian Merts, Melinda Gordon, Amanda Boucher and Gawie Gordon.
Session prize went to Richard Cochman, Bob Moroney, Kitty Cochman and Aletta Bennette.
The Oribi Plaza Wimpy ladies’ pairs was won by Sharolyn Dacey and Anne Payn.
Runners-up were Jing Wu and Aletta Berenette. Session went to Desiree Krause and Mada Lindeque.

VILLAGE
Winning the Spec-Savers open trips on July 17 were Johan du Preez, Chippy Louw and Monica Campbell.
Runners-up were Annette Payne, Theo Vorster and Louis Heystek.
First session went to Martiens Olivier, Norman Davies and Ali Mitchell.
Second session went to Ann Waugh, André Lourens and Elsa Lourens.

RIVERSIDE
Winners of the JL Panelbeaters trips were Paul Mundell, Nickey Riddell and Dale Riddell.
Second place went to Leon de Jager, Adriaan Smit and Wilma Smit.

THE BELL
The Food Lover’s Market pairs last week was won by Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore.
Runner-up were Bob and Desiree Corringham, with the session prize going to Michael and Heidi van der Merwe.

Bowlers wish sponsor Ken Tonge a happy 80th birthday during the latest competition at Margate BC.
