Shelley clinches Cora Hicks trophy

Golfers were at Southbroom Golf Club.

Shelley Myers won the Cora Hicks trophy, an individual medal, at Southbroom Golf Club last week on nett 75.

Runner-up was Jill O’Callaghan on nett 79, counting out Jeanette Peyios.

The men’s competition was won by Ross Mckay on nett 70.

Bob Thomas won the Stableford on 38 points, by one from Clive Miller on 37 points and two from Malcolm Moorley and Bob Clark, who both had 36 points.

Saturday’s Stableford was won on 37 points by Heleen Hissey and Jenny Brewis.

In second place on 35 points were Jo Ledden and Gwyn Wright, with Di Morris and Louise Leal next on 32 points.

The men’s competition was won by Eddie Geffen and Malcolm Greenland on 40 points.

Next were Johan Wentzel and Brian Jolliffe on 38 points, with Peter Volck and Ant Hughes in third on 37 points.

Tilly Nel and Jaco Das were fourth on 36 points.
