Eagles enjoy perfect day at Umdoni Golf Course

The next game will be held on September 2.

The Umdoni Park Golf Course was the venue for the Village Eagles on August 5.

Fifty eight Eagles were in attendance and the course was in good condition.

A special thanks to the staff for providing everyone with the privilege of competing at Umdoni. The weather was beautiful and a perfect day for golf.

Best lady was Bryony Rogers on 38 individual points and Sarel Swart took the men’s prize on 48 points.

The winners on the day were Brendan O’ Donoqhue, Sharon Schutte, Pat Poole and Tracy Phillips-Bryant on an alliance score of 98 points on a count out.

The longest day and collecting the Stones Trophy were Mark Combes, Ron Menton, Sarie Hall and Claire Combes on 73 points.

The results were calculated by Stan Sim and Alistair Eyres.

Derek Hodge presented the fines which were well supported. Noel Jessup presented the results.

The players thank all sponsors who made the day special and enjoyable.

The next game will be held at Scottburgh Golf Club on September 2. See you all there!
