KINGFISHER BA
The 2025 Kingfisher Bowling Association trips have been completed. Congratulations to the teams that won and those that reached the finals.

Men’s winners were Dumisani Madlala, Peter von Brandis and Vernon Strauss.
Runners-up were men – André Maulgue, Alan Gibson and Dillon Schoeman
Sharing third place were Albert Munnik, Bruce Hoyer and Adam Grobler, and Eddie Fann, Flippie Geyer and Gary Vogt.
In the women’s section, the winners were Pam Cole-Cook, Jessica Henderson and Leoni Booth, from Liesje de Rosner, Helen Turk and Erna Herbst.
Tied for third were Lindi Samuel, Elize Duvenage and Luhane von Benecke, and Linda Mynhardt-Hudson, Estelle Collier and Annatjie Kidd.
TWENI
Winners of the Astron Energy Umtentweni mixed trips on August 11 were Robbie Duyts, Sue Foord and Rosemarie Ludwig.
Runners-up were Dumisani Madlala, Mari Strauss and Vernon Strauss.
Session prize went to Richard Cochman, Kitty Cochman and Aletta Bennette.
The 3rd Avenue/The Meat Joint mixed fours on August 18 was won by JJ Nel, Jan Anderson, Mike Schmidt and Jakkie Ackerman.
Runners-up were Kevin Mullen, Tony Aveyard, Lyn Harris and Laraine Harris.
Session prize went to Albert van Niekerk, Rodney Randall, Sue Foord and Allan Wilkins.
MARGATE
The Ken Tonge sponsored ladies 3-bowl trips on August 15 was won by Pauline Dunlop, Cheryl Thompson and Jenny Bruce.
Runners-up were Carol Roodt, Pam Nothard and Kobie Ritchie.
Session prize was won by Sannie Balzer, Marjeanne Fensham and Cassidy Martin, who also picked up the lucky draw.
The club invites visitors and new bowlers to social bowls every Sunday morning, starting at 09:00. Only requirement is flat-soled shoes.
HIBBERDENE
The Hibberdene Pharmacy drawn mixed trips on August 15 was won by Stef Dahlmann, Miriam Seagar and Andrew Maree.
Runners-up were Luke Pohl, Cheryl Knight and Sean Bouley.
Session went to Rienie Blignault, Adam Grobler and Maureen du Toit.
