Wessa to host scenic 6km walk this Saturday (20th)

Organisers encourage walkers of all fitness levels to join, pack a picnic, and enjoy a day of fresh air, nature and exercise.

The Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (Wessa) will host a community walk on Saturday, September 20, offering nature lovers the chance to enjoy some of the area’s most scenic spots.

The 6km walk will take place on Sea View farm from The Cowshed starting at 09:00. After the walk, participants can look forward to a relaxed picnic at Kidds Beach, followed by a leisurely afternoon at Leisure Bay.

Wessa, a leading environmental organisation established in 1926, works to promote public participation in caring for the Earth. The society’s initiatives include conservation projects, educational programmes, and community-based events aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues.
