Boxers shine at national championships
The fighters represented their club and the Ugu District with pride and determination.
It was a weekend to remember for the Box360 family as two of their young fighters brought home top honours from the recent SANABO Cadets and Juniors Championships 2025, held in Rustenburg, Northwest.
The national event took place at Ben Marias Hall, where some of South Africa’s most promising young boxers showcased their talent.
Nevaeh Hammond claimed a gold medal, while Thabang Molope earned a well-deserved silver after a hard-fought bout.
Both fighters represented their club and the Ugu District with pride and determination.
Box360 head coach Roland van Rooyen expressed his pride in the team’s performance.
“I can’t express how proud I am of Box360,” he said.
He also praised Ugu District coach Jordan Peace for his outstanding leadership throughout the tournament.
“Jordan went up there with the fighters, leading from the front. He showed what real leadership looks like,” said Van Rooyen.
“The achievements highlight Box360’s growing reputation for developing young talent, teamwork, discipline and dedication in the sport.”
