Dingalings tickle your funny bone
The Port Shepstone public caught the latest hilarious escapades of the Dingaling crew.
THE Dingalings were back in Port Shepstone last Friday, by public demand, following a sold out performance at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre last month, with their new hit family play Wed-Dingalings Night Before.
The show encompassed all the usual Dingaling antics when the guys arrange the pre-wedding celebrations for one of their friends. The Dingaling favourites Ravi Subramoney, Henry Ramkissoon, Senzo Mthethwa and Koobeshen Naidoo were joined by old Dingaling friend Dr Satchu Annamalai, renowned for his comic style and musical ability.
The group took the audience on a nostalgic trip down memory lane complete with all the popular old tunes that left them bouncing in the aisles. With tunes from Bollywood and the eighties hits from yesteryear, the guys prepared to host their friend’s wedding pre-nuptials with advice on wives, mothers-in-law, setting up house and the fond recollections of the good old days.
The two hour show was directed and produced by theatre stalwart Yugan Naidoo and the dynamic Kumseela Naidoo.
