Brilliant Whitney Houston performance at Wild Coast Sun

SHOWTIME Australia presented the critically-acclaimed live concert honouring the talent, music and memory of Whitney Houston at the Tropical Nites Theatre at the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort last Wednesday.
Featuring the breathtaking vocals of Belinda Davids accompanied by a fabulous six-piece live band and dancers, this was a beautifully crafted tribute to one of the world’s most revered singers.
The two-hour production filled the audience with joy, nostalgia and wonderment as they were taken on a heartfelt musical journey through Houston’s greatest hits including ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, ‘How Will I Know’, ‘One Moment in Time’, ‘I Have Nothing’, ‘Run to You’, ‘Didn’t We Almost Have It All’, ‘Greatest Love of All’, ‘I’m Every Woman’, ‘Exhale (Shoop Shoop)’ and more.
The show has already wowed audiences across the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, UAE, Australia and New Zealand.
Belinda Davids beat almost 15 000 other hopefuls to take on the role and it was her own eternal love of Whitney Houston that prepared her for the show.
Exposed mainly to R&B and gospel as a child, Belinda was innately drawn to Whitney Houston’s musical style. From the superb lighting, sound, costuming, special effects and stage direction to musical support and dance choreography, this show was a loving and respectful tribute to an great artist.
