7 Things to do to avoid getting pimples
Having a clear, pimple-free skin, can help one's confidence.
NO one likes to have a big pimple on their nose, especially not before a date with someone you really like.
And it can be a bit awkward if you have a job interview or presentation to make, but the giant pimple on your chin is getting more attention than you.
There’s a difference, though between acne and getting the occasional pimple.
Acne can often occur in puberty … you know, the classic pimply teenager. Cases can vary in severity and location, but usually it’s the face and neck, and sometimes the shoulders and back.
However, some adults struggle with skin issues, and these are usually related to hormonal issues, stress and/or diet.
Here are some tips that could help:
1. Keep your face clean. Seems obvious but it’s important to wash your face at least twice a day to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your face.
2. Moisturise. Admittedly, these cost a bit but they’re probably worth it in the end.
3. Try an over-the-counter acne product. But check with your doctor or chemist before doing so. The wrong medication can sometimes make it worse.
4. Use makeup sparingly. Too much ‘product’ can block the skin’s pores, leading to blackheads and dreaded ‘chorbs’.
