Good vibes from Four 5 Seconds at Rocky Ridge this weekend
The band offers an enjoyable music experience for both young and old.
Banish the winter blues and chill out at a great gig at Ramsgate’s iconic music venue, Rocky Ridge, this Saturday (27th).
Four 5 Seconds will be on stage from 8pm – venue opens at 6pm and the entry is R50 per person.
The band comprises Wade Marshall, his sister Tamryn Tate and long-time best friend Derek Myles and they perform an extremely diverse selection of music, from 70s and 80s rock, 90s pop and rock ballads to the latest chart-topping hits.
Wade studied music at university and does all the arranging and recording of the band’s own material and covers.
Four 5 Seconds has performed in Johannesburg and Durban where the group has played large venues such as the ICC and offered an enjoyable music experience for both young and old. Band members like to incorporate their own style in the covers they perform and play their original material as well.
Coming from a musical background Tamryn and Wade have been singing and writing songs together since they were children. Derek and Wade have been friends since high school and have always loved composing and making music together. The band is distinguishable in that both siblings sing lead vocals interchangeably and do harmony vocals for one another. Four 5 Seconds’ music is influenced by Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd to name just a few.
