Orchestra comes to Umdoni

UMDONI Retirement Village will welcome the Durban City Orchestra this Saturday, September 21.

The orchestra is made up of amateur, experienced and professional musicians from diverse backgrounds reflecting South Africa’s rainbow nation, and its repertoire combines classical and symphonic genres with popular and contemporary styles.

The programme being put together for Umdoni includes an overture, a symphony by Schubert, some light classics and waltzes by Brahms, Franz Lehar, Johann Strauss and others.

This promises to be something special, so don’t miss out.

The show begins at 2pm and tickets are R70 each.
