Just in: Man stabs his mother to death

NATURENA – A 41-year-old man was arrested after confessing to stabbing his 58-year-old mother to death in Hamilton Street, Naturena Ext 19.

There are unconfirmed reasons to believe the man could have stabbed his mother on Monday night, September 1.

A neighbour usually saw the the deceased woman leave for work in the morning, but when her car was still in the yard, the neighbour stopped a police van and asked the police to check on her.

The police found the house locked, but they found the man at a nearby house, leading to his shocking confession.

The police is still investigating the case and more information will be released by Mondeor Constable and Communications Officer, Elizabeth Mnguni.
