Fundraising Platform gives money to children

R50 000 donated to the children of South Africa

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Gauteng People’s Fundraising Platform (GPFP) has once again stretched their helping hand to serve children of South Africa by donating R50 000 to Child Welfare on Tuesday November 4.

The platform raises money by designing top quality diaries, high definition calendars, cups, board games and wide ranges of hampers people would not find anywhere else, even in the most expensive stores.

This gives the platform an advantage to sell these attractive products to people who not only buy them to raise money, but are also guaranteed to have products of great quality.

GPFP is run by husband and wife team Willy and Anne Balbathur, their family and staff they recruited all the way from Soweto and trained to be supervisors in the platform.

Willy says helping people and children has always been his passion, he has been doing this for more than 30 years. He started immediately when he finished his studies and he has never looked back.

“When we design these products, we deliver them to people, companies and organisations that purchase them. We put their names and branding on the products to show that they also participate in the mission to provide for children. That also gives their organisations millage, said a happy Willy.

Acting National Director of Child Welfare SA, Beatrix Marais, said: “We are very grateful to GPFP, and we would like to thank all the supporters and the people who helped make this possible. This is more than we expected.”

People are welcome to make small donations to GPFP at FNB banks, account number 62359565945, branch code 250655, account name, Gauteng Peoples Fundraising Platform or visit their offices at Booysens Reserve, 5th Street, Hlanganani House.
