EFF leaders must be held accountable for all illegal land grabs

"South Africa is not a barbaric country, This is not a banana republic where people can do as they please." - Tshabalala

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – National Freedom Party Youth Movement (NFPYM) has expressed utter disgust at the utterances by the EFF leader, who has allegedly encouraged lawlessness by encouraging illegal land grabs in the country.

“We are utterly disgusted and amazed by this level of lunacy. Such utterances well describe the high level of ill-discipline and senselessness that is associated with the EFF. Their leader who has publicly endorsed lawlessness must be held accountable whenever there are people who occupy land illegally. He must be an accomplice to those criminals.

“South Africa is not a barbaric country. This is not a banana republic where people can do as they please. There are laws in this country that need to be respected by all citizens. We are also shocked and concerned by the statement from the EFF that they will continue making our Parliament ungovernable.

“The SA parliament is now chaotic and has been turned into a circus by the EFF members, who cannot debate and discuss a single policy that provoke thinking.

“As citizens of this country, we expect our parliament to pass policies and legislation that will take us forward, but the past six months has seen anarchy and disorder reigning, because the opportunists who happen to be part of Parliament have turned it into a circus.

“Clearly, the EFF has no leadership. Its members cannot debate one issue that requires a brain, because they lack this crucial organ. We urge our parliamentarians to take firm action, and expel all those who disrupt proceedings instead of pushing agendas for change.

“We cannot allow a situation where this august House is turned into a mockery by a few headline hoggers who have nothing better to say other than causing anarchy,” said NFPYM Secretary General Busi Tshabalala.
