Booysens SAPS catches 51 suspects

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – BETWEEN Monday April 13 and Sunday April 19, Booysens police arrested a total of 51 of suspects for various crimes, including: common assault common – three; assault with grievous bodily harm – one; attempted theft of motor vehicle – one; carjacking – two; common robbery – one; contravention of liquor act – one; contravention of the second hand goods act – one; drunken driving – 28; fraud – one; possession of drugs – three; possession of stolen motor vehicle – two; possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle – one; shoplifting – two; theft – three; and one for use of motor vehicle without owner’s consent.
