On Monday August 31, late afternoon after a tip-off, drugs worth an estimated R4 million were discovered in a house in Kransswael Crescent, Liefde en Vrede.

According to Colonel W Van Wyk, commander from Johannesburg and Gauteng Flying Squad, mandrax powder and tablets were found on the property.
Lt Col Katlego Mogale said, “Flying Squad and Crime Intelligence were following up on information about a drug lab in the area. Chemicals, scales and a press were confiscated. The suspects are expected to appear in court soon on charges of manufacturing drugs.”
