Drivers lucky escape from truck collision

A MAN escaped injury when two trucks collided on the M1 Crown interchange in Johannesburg on Monday October 12.

Russel Meiring from ER24 spokesperson said paramedics from the ER24 South Branch were returning to base when they came across the incident.

“Two trucks lay in the middle of the road with one of trucks lying on its side, burning slowly. Paramedics immediately rushed over and pulled the driver from the vehicle. Fortunately the driver escape without injury,” said Russel.

Paramedics were able to extinguish the fire with extinguishers from members of the public.
