The Glen Shopping Centre is the heart of Jozi South

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH: One of the South’s largest shopping centres, The Glen, boasts three levels of exquisite shopping walkways that compliment an extensive home style decor section and indoor and outdoor dining which overlooks an open air garden terrace.

With the festive season at our doorstep, The Glen has extended trading hours for shoppers‘ convenience.

All residents planning on doing a bit of shopping, or taking loved ones on a special date, will be pleased to know that the stores and restaurants at the mall will be open until late. The aim is to accommodate residents and regular shoppers.

Exciting holiday entertainment events will be taking place from December 4, for people of all ages to enjoy.

Located in the heart of Jozi South, The Glen Shopping Centre is conveniently situated off the N12 and offers improved access points, which include a double lane from the Comaro Road off-ramp, with an added lay-by lane to facilitate east traffic flow into the centre and enable access from different points.

The recent expansion also includes over 1 000 new parking bays and covers more than just the shopping centre, with immediate surrounding environments benefiting too. The comprehensive tenant mix now positions The Glen as the unrivalled destination centre in the region.

The Glen is owned by listed property company Hyprop Investments Limited and Ellerine Bros.

The following events will be taking place on December 4:

*Carols by Candlelight. Join in the merriment at The Glen’s annual Carols by Candlelight charity fund-raising event this festive season. Glow sticks will be on sale and all proceeds will be donated to the St. Mary’s Home for underprivileged children. The event will take place from 18:30 at the Fountain Court.

*Photos with Santa. Have your photo taken with Santa from December 4 to December 24, opposite PNA. Printing prices: three Jumbo photos at R60, three A5 photos at R100, A4 photo calendar at R100. Photo sessions take place between 09:00 and 18:00, from Mondays to Saturdays, with daily breaks from 11:30 to 12:15 and 15:00 to 15:45.

The following events will be taking place on December 8:

*St Mary’s Tree of Love. Support the Saint Mary’s Children’s Home Christmas Initiative this festive season by removing a tag from the Christmas tree, next to our Customer Care Kiosk, purchasing a gift (listed on the tag) for the child and then giving the gift and the tag to any of our friendly staff at the Customer Care Kiosk or Centre Management Offices. This initiative will run from December 8 to December 24 and all gifts will be delivered to the St Mary’s Children’s Home.

*Winter Ice Holiday. During the December school holidays, The Glen will be hosting its very first Winter Ice Holiday, with snow and an ice skating rink, not to mention the various kid’s activities and entertainment. Ask mom or dad to check out the website for more details. This will take place from December 10 to December 23 at the Fountain Court.
