New pool and aquatics centre for Marist Brothers
Perfect Stroke Swimming has been instrumental in getting our swimmers to reach a higher level
MARIST Brothers Linmeyer sponsoring opened the doors to its Indoor Pool and Aquatics Centre on Monday, January 18.
Under the guidance of Perfect Stroke Swimming, led by Wesley Williams and coach Stuart Gordon, Marist Brothers Linmeyer has incorporated swimming into the PT programme for the junior learners for the last couple of years.
“Perfect Stroke Swimming has been instrumental in getting our swimmers to reach a higher level. This year Perfect Stroke will also be involved in our ‘Learn to Swim’ programme with our Grade 0 and Grade 00 learners. The goal of the programme is to encourage water safety through an understanding of the rules that keep us safe in and around water and assist children to become waterborne through a series of fun activities,” said Tracy Edwards, marketing officer, Marist Brothers Linmeyer.
