Booysens SAPS bust suspects with stolen copper

More suspects behind bars for stolen copper.

BOOYSENS SAPS officers busted two suspects grinding copper worth R8 000 in a scrap yard in Turffontein on Saturday, January 30.

The officers were busy patrolling Great Britain Street when they heard a loud noise and acted swiftly to see what was happening. They found two suspects, aged between 30 and 35, cutting copper.

The two suspects were charged with possession of stolen copper and theft and were expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.
