IT was Nelson Mandela who said: “I dream of an Africa which is at peace with itself”, and the women of Winds of Change Church went a long way to making that dream a reality when they gathered together for their African-themed event, ‘Here I am!’
With the rich beautiful colours, sights and sounds of Africa, it was a day that united women of all walks of life under the African skies. On Saturday, March 19, senior pastor of Winds of Change Church, Estrelita Damons, encouraged the women to be bold and to stand up and say “Here I am, ready to make a difference in our homes and in this beautiful continent we call home.”
Winds of Change Church will be hosting its next women’s event on Saturday, May 21, with guest speaker pastor Beverley Wolmarans. The theme is ‘All fired up!’
