Sharing Kindness Foundation supports 30 Joburg South families with care packages

The foundation is appealing for donations to continue helping families affected by job losses, retrenchments and rising living costs.

The Sharing Kindness Foundation provides care packages to about 30 families in Joburg South facing difficult circumstances.

The foundation says job losses, retrenchments and rising living costs have left many families struggling to put food on the table.

This week’s donations were made possible by the generosity of Alberton LewenSentrum Gemeente.

“Behind every package is a real person, a family, a story and a need,” said Sharing Kindness founder, Nic Janse van Rensberg.

“Everyone deserves dignity, hope and an opportunity to rebuild. It is a privilege to help, even in a small way. Sometimes, a care package is more than food. Sometimes, it is hope arriving at someone’s door,” he continued.

The foundation thanked all supporters and said it needs donations to continue the work.
