July meetings for Joburg South Garden Club

Please note that at the first meeting of the new committee, a decision was taken that with effect from this meeting, the attendance fee will increase to R25 per head, still inclusive of refreshments and an entry in to the raffle.

ON Saturday, July 16, Johannesburg South Garden Club will be hosting guest speaker, Feroza Subajee, who will chat to the members about The Rising Flower Project and growing vegetables.

The meeting will take place at 10:00 at The Precinct, Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park.

Don’t forget to support the competition table. Categories are pot plants (1), fruit, vegetables and herbs (2), indigenous (3), general (4) and floral art (5). The subject for this month is: Colour from the Garden.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 26, at 10:00, at the same venue. Guest speaker Sally Mulligan will be speaking about herbs.

Please note soup and rolls will be served after the meeting.
