Booysens SAPS officer solves three cases.

BOOYSENS SAPS are proud of Warrant Officer Joseph Yende for impressively solving three cases dated back as far as 2014.

Case one was an attempted murder that happened in November 2015 in Forest Hills, where the victim had to be rushed to the South Rand Hospital after sustaining stabbing wounds. The suspect was arrested and W/O Yende successfully investigated the docket to see the suspect sentenced to six years imprisonment on Wednesday, June 29. The suspect was also declared unfit to carry a a firearm.

The second case solved involved a murder in December of 2014 in Turffontein and the suspect is now serving a 12-year sentence after the Booysens SAPS Detective Branch arrested the suspect.

Case three is also a murder case where the victim was taken to hospital but later died as a result of injuries sustained. The suspect was not found guilty of murder but negligent handling of a firearm and was also found unfit to possess a firearm.
