FOUR people were injured on Tuesday morning, August 2, after a bakkie rolled off the N17 near the Heidelberg off-ramp in City Deep.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said upon arrival, paramedics found a bakkie lying on its side on the side of the road. Fire services had already begun to attend to the patients.
“On assessment, paramedics found that four people had been injured in this incident. An elderly man was found to have sustained serious injuries while three others had sustained minor injuries. The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Johannesburg General Hospital for urgent treatment,” explained Meiring.
