Emirates Lions are en route to New Zealand to play in their biggest match in the franchise. The team from Johannesburg will face the Hurricanes on their home ground this coming Saturday, August 6, at the Westpack Stadium in Wellington.
The kick-off time is 09:35 South African time.
Captain of the Lions Warren Whiteley and Sylvian Mahuza will join the Emirates Lions on their flight to New Zealand. The team will arrive in Wellington on Monday evening and will start training on Tuesday for their biggest challenge up to date to play the Hurricanes in the finals for the Vodacom Super Rugby trophy.
