Stop illegal dumping in the South

Someone dumped this goods on the corner of Forest and Diagonal Streets in La Rochelle.

WARD 57 councillor Faeeza Chame is calling upon all residents of the South to refrain from illegally dumping rubble and rubbish in vacant areas.

“It is very disappointing to see how some of our residents don’t take pride in our area. Dumping has become the norm. If you see anyone dumping please report them to JMPD. Please keep your area clean. Let us be proud of the South,” said Chame.

According Chame, the person who dumped his or her goods at the corner of Forest and Diagonal streets in La Rochelle, decided it was no longer enough to just dump the dirt and decided to start burning it.

Chame is waiting for Pikitup to come and clean up the area.
