Over 300 children attended the Carols by Candlelight at a new and improved park in Regents Park on December 9.
The park on the corner of Augusta and Majorie streets came to life, according to DA Ward 57 councillor Faeeza Chame.
Chame said City Parks had installed more playing equipment in the park.
“We had our very first Carols by Candlelight in the park.”
Local businesses in the area sponsored treats for the event, providing party packs for the bubbly crowd.
Chame said local pastor Marlon led the people in prayer with songs of praise.
“I would like to thank everyone that made this event special for our children,” Chame said.
