Conversation with a stranger: Freddy Tema
He has been in the South for 23 years, and through all these years he has seen the suffering and the misery of the people in his neighbourhood.
FREDDY Tema from Turffontein helps his community to heal through his ministry and motivation.
He has been in the South for 23 years, and through all these years he has seen the suffering and the misery of the people in his neighbourhood.
“I know we are living in hard times and the best thing people can do is to help one another. Through my ministry, music and motivation I help people who are depressed and desperate.
“I go to schools in the area and encourage learners to be good citizens and help one another, I also pray for them. I have adopted people in my house who cannot afford a living. I know life can never be the same for people who have been in contact with me, the experience I have in dealing with people has been great. Through gospel music I have reached so many broken hearts and have definitely mended them,” he said.
Freddy hosts worship seminars twice a year where he invites the people of the South to interact with him. He believes he has been successful in his journey and urges the people of the South to support him in his live recording that will take place on October 13 at Forest High School hall from 6pm.
“I will be doing Back to Alter Worship Experience with a live band and the name of the CD/DVD will be Nasekuseni umoya wami ukulambele (My Soul is Thirsty for You). This will be a great platform for the people of the South to interact with me and other invited pastors,” he said.
