City of Johannesburg will host residents of Region F, Ward 124, at Rotunda Park in Turffontein to offer medical advice and tests in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

TO mark the 30th anniversary of World Aids Day on December 1, the City of Johannesburg will host residents of Region F, Ward 124, at Rotunda Park in Turffontein to offer medical advice and tests in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The activities of the day will include a 5km fun walk, aerobics, indigenous games, medical screening tests for blood pressure, body mass index, diabetes, HIV testing services, health promotion and an information desk.

There will also be performances by dance groups and other performing arts.

Joining this Healthy Lifestyle Awareness Campaign will be the Provincial Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Anova Health, Believers Care Society, Migration Unit, CRUM and the ward councillor. There will also be exhibition stalls.

The 5km fun walk registration forms will be available at Eureka House, CJ Cronje Building, Rosettenville Clinic, Bellavista Clinic and 80 Albert Street Clinic.

Gates will open at 6.30am for registration. The walk will start at 7.30am.
