Booysens SAPS applauds community members who collected their outstanding firearm cards

The public can visit the firearm office anytime from Monday to Friday between 8am to 3pm.

BOOYSEN SAPS appreciates and applauds members of the public who collected their outstanding firearm cards.

SAPS wishes again to remind the public to collect their cards at the station.

Booysens communication officer Captain Lorraine van Emmerik, said, “It has come to the attention of the firearm office that the community is under the impression the paper printed competency certificate is valid. Please note that this is not the case, once a card is printed the paper competency certificate falls away. Therefore you are urgently requested to check if your card competency is at the station.”

The public can visit the firearm office anytime from Monday to Friday between 8am to 3pm.

Suburbs falling under Booysens policing area: Booysens, Reuven, Ormonde, Evans Park, Crown Gardens, Ridgeway, Robertsham, Winchester Hills, Gillview, Chrisville, Southdale, Ophirton, Lakeview, Booysens Reserve, Frampton and Theta. Other areas are Crown Mines, Nasrec, Soccer City open area next to Nasrec, Aeroton, Ormonde View, Robinson Deep, Haddon, Lindbergh Park, West Turffontein (includes Bellavista), Turffontein, Turf Club, Forest Hill and Kenilworth.
