LOGAN WATSON: “The government should do something about fake pastors. The Bible cautions us that in later days false prophets will arise and this is what we are experiencing. People are losing their money due to these so-called miracles.”
The COURIER asked residents how they feel about the pastors of nowadays.
FRANK RACHUENE:“I’m a pastor as well. I believe the Gospel has been tarnished by people claiming to be real pastors, while they are fake to the core. To be realistic, foreigners are the ones who are defaming pastors. ”
ROWIWADA WILLIAMS: “ I don’t trust pastors any more after seeing a staged performance of an individual who claimed to have died and after a few days, he was brought back to life. Real pastors need to put a stop to this.”
ELEANCER JAFTA: “Pastors can’t be trusted. They use people for their own benefits. These miracles that they perform are just to allude people and get money from them. We know pastors to be caring and loving, but these days they use your problems against you.”
CLIVE VAN WYK: “I believe in individuals who claim to be lay preachers or prophets. We don’t have to judge them by their acts.”
