THULISA Faith Community Centre in Moffat View is pleading for food donations for their soup kitchen in the area.

Every Wednesday afternoon, Louise Basson, together with some locals, feed local children. It has, however, been difficult for them to continue as they do not have food to give out.

“We are pleading with the community, individuals and business people to help us continue feeding these children.

“With Easter holidays coming we would like to give them Easter eggs and sweets to make them happy.

“Anyone who is willing to help can contact me on 074 082 7012. We also want to thank all those who previously donated to us, we really appreciate your kind gesture,” explained Louise.
