La Rochelle Primary School learners participate in social talks

#everychildisyourchild project is a success.

LA ROCHELLE Primary School hosted #everychildisyourchild during its school assembly on April 26.

The #everychildisyourchild project was established to help learners who come from less privileged homes with toiletries and sanitary pads.

The school invited four nurses from Rosettenville Clinic to offer social talks to learners on how they should keep themselves clean.

Learners were split into two groups with the boys joining talks with their male teachers and the girls with female teachers. Both groups received dignity packs and the talks were successful as learners participated by asking questions.

The school said it will continue hosting such programmes to keep learners motivated and inspired. In the overall giveaway, 28 boys and 37 girls received dignity packs.
