Grace Trinity School learner collects 1 684 cans of tinned food for Meals and Wheels
She was targeting 1 000 cans of food but through the involvement of her school, family and friends she managed to exceed her target.

A GRADE 11 learner from Grace Trinity School for Girls, Daniella Chaves, has collected 1 684 cans of tinned food for Meals and Wheels in Rifle Range Road.
She set her target at 1 000 tins of food, but through the involvement of her school, family and friends she managed to exceed her target.
“I decided to do a charity drive for people that are less fortunate than us. I started to do some research on a charity that I could support.
“Meals on Wheels was the charity of my choice. I was overwhelmed by the support from everyone. This has motivated me to carry on with my charity work. Thank you Meals on Wheels for allowing me to team up with you,” she said.
Vicky Sepp from Meals on Wheels said the staff and manager of Meals on Wheels wish to thank her for her unselfish manner in which she assisted them to help feed those in need, neglected and forgotten.
“Meals on Wheels in Rifle Range Road got robbed over the Easter weekend. I reached out to a student at Grace Trinity School for Girls and Daniella did an amazing job to assist the branch. She collected food to assist this branch which provides in excess of 70 000 meals per month from this branch alone,” she said.
