Ward 57 Clr Faeeza Chame happy with working traffic lights in South Hills

“I am excited to see that these lights are finally working because it was a problem when one had to use this road.

TRAFFIC lights on the corner of South Rand and Nephin roads, South Hills, are finally working after it has been down for two years.

According to Ward 57 Clr Faeeza Chame, some motorists preferred using alternative roads because of the threat of potential accidents the non-working lights posed.

“I am excited to see that these lights are finally working because it was a problem when one had to use this road.

“Motorists who are based in South Hills were always complaining to me about these traffic lights and I contacted relevant people regarding the matter,” said Chame.

Chame feared that if something wasn’t done regarding the lights, a potential protest was on the cards.

“As long as the ward keeps moving in the right direction when it comes to service delivery, it makes me happy,” added Chame.
