Benefit concert against drug abuse

JOHANNESBURG Expo Centre in Nasrec will host a Stand up and be counted benefit concert to support and aid organisations that do groundwork in fighting the awful epidemic called drugs and substance abuse.

It will be held on August 31 from 6pm to 10.30pm.

Also to be honoured are servants of God, the musicians, the men and women who have been at the forefront of the communities with their activism against drug abuse.

The concert is free and open to the public. Only 2 000 seating capacity will be allowed, and people will be allocated on first come first served basis. Organisers are GL Events, Rainbow FM and Gauteng Provincial of Community Safety.
