Fun morning for Circle of Friends

Each member had a chance to show the others what they collect and there were some lovely items.

CIRCLE of Friends members had a fun meeting recently where they showed off what each person collects.

Each member had a chance to show the others what they collect and there were some lovely items, from royal memorabilia, bread tags for wheelchairs, anything “froggy”, and teapots. While Shirley Clough collects pens and bookmarks from all the places she has traveled, Susan Simpson prefers to throw things out.

Sharon Wright showed the members different pieces of fabric she uses to make table runners and handbags and also showed them the tea bag holders she makes out of collecting used tea bags.

Melody Pheiffer attended the meeting, entertaining members with her cheerful songs and fun was had by all.

*Sadly, Susan Simpson died on August 8, after a short illness.
