A clash of the choirs saw hospitals battling it out at South Rand Hospital on September 6.

WALKING from the corridors all one could hear was the soothing melodies of qualified nurses, doctors, and other hospital staff.

This was the result of the clash of mass choirs between hospitals’ staff battling it out at South Rand Hospital on September 6.

Hospitals from different districts gathered in South Rand Hospital’s hall with well-toned and harmonic voices.

The choirs had the audience glued to their seats with their performances.

The purpose of the clash was for hospitals to share a spirit of togetherness and help each other where necessary.

Sedibeng, Tshwane, Leratong, Tembisa and South Rand hospitals took part in the clash and every entity performed their level best.

At the end of the day, Leratong walked away as victors.
