Winchester Hills resident wins a motorcycle

All it took for Melissa to win the motorcycle was to buy a Monster Energy drink and SMS the code to a number.

Caltex Freshstop in Chrisville gave away a brand-new motorcycle to Melissa Olivier after she participated in Monster competition which ran for a couple of months.

The Winchester Hills-based resident said she couldn’t believe it when she received a call stating she had won. All it took for Melissa to win the motorcycle was to buy a Monster Energy drink and SMS the code to a number.

According to Melissa, this was her first time winning a competition and when she entered she was doing it for fun, with no hope of winning.

“I’m so excited to win such a prize, it’s overwhelming and I believe I won’t get any sleep today because I’m still in shock. My family is also here with me to enjoy this day with me. I’m happy about this. I also hope competitions like these will continue being staged for the community,” said Melissa.

Freshstop manager Mohan told COURIER this was done to reach out to the community and surrounding areas.

“This competition ran for a couple of months. Monster monitored the whole process and we were able to make someone happy. This isn’t the end of us reaching out to the community, the best is yet to come,” said Mohan.
