Teddy Bear Clinic takes a stand against violence through sport

THE Teddy Bear Clinic for Abused Children will be hosting a soccer tournament to create awareness and raise much needed funds at the Discovery Soccer Park in Sandton on December 7 from 8am to 4pm.
The soccer tournament will be in conjunction with the International 16 Days of Activism advocacy, No violence against Women and Children, which bring attention to the violence afflicting women and children in the country.
The Teddy Bear Clinic offers specialised care and support to abused children and their families and as such take a stand in eradicating violence against women and children. The soccer tournament will encourage communities to come together and promote a better community for all.
To be a part of this event all youthful men and ladies teams (18+) are welcome to register their teams at R1 500 per team.
It will be a five-a-side format with a winning prize of R20 000 as well as individual prizes, goodie bags, medals, entertainment and much more.
